Who or what determines the value of a passport? And what can make a passport junk? This new piece by the German choreographer is a playful investigation of fundamental values. At the centre of the stage stands a wall of people  separating two very different worlds, a contemporary dance company and the artists of the Nouveau Cirque: two cultures, two languages and a national border that is not absolute but extremely flexible… Questions of nationalism, borders and the longing for a closed society? – Fast and furious and breathtaking.
