Set of Sets   Guy Nader | Maria Campos

In Set of Sets, the dancers are in a state of continuous flux, with the sense of time apparently suspended. The dancers circle around each other in all possible ways, sinking into spirals and revolving in a constant flow of soft, gentle movement. Guy Nader and Maria Campos, who last year performed Made of Space, explore the concept of time, delaying and accelerating it in a challenge our habitual patterns of perception. A mix of contemporary dance, acrobatics, hip-hop and martial arts creates an almost hypnotic sense of movement. Set of Sets constantly challenges gravity, throwing or tilting the dancers into the horizontal plane and leaving them suspended in air at the limits of physical laws. They form a unity in the maelstrom of the live music played by percussionist Miguel Marín.
