Boris Charmatz created Hommage à Merce Cunningham, an icon of contemporary dance history. He interprets it in the form of a lively photo novel with enthusiastic amateur dancers from the Tyrol, inspired by the cult book Merce Cunningham, Fifty Years – a Photographic Collection. For the performers it is a dancing and artistic challenge; for the audience an original and humorous piece that was created using similar choreographic methods to those employed by the doyen of post-modern dance.
