What do Dietrich Oepke, once model flying champion of the GDR, Dave Anthony, developer of Call of Duty and James Gimzewski, professor for nano-architecture, have in common? They are players. Concrete or virtual, with quadrocopters, futuristic weapons or artificial intelligence, they play with human and technical possibilities. How real are their visions of the future?

Filmmaker Karin Jurschick moves in different parallel worlds: the laboratories of researchers and the military, the “think tanks” in which philosophers, ethicists, historians and military scientists reflect on the possibilities and “morality” of the new weapons of war.
