Je danse par...   Kaori Ito

Kaori Ito, dancer and choreographer, has performed with Philippe Découflé, Angelin Preljocaj, Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui and others and choreographed with Alain Platel’s Les Ballets C de la B. This work is an incredibly moving presentation of the father-daughter relationship, above all as a grown-up woman. Kaori Ito’s father Hiroshi is a noted artist in Japan; for her, he was both an authority and a person to be overcome. With questions and answers, through wit and dance, Kaori Ito explores their earlier and present relationship.
