In Lauf der Dinge (Course of Things), the WirkWerk ensemble presents contemporary music by Austrian and international composers. While Simon STEEN-ANDERSEN and Theo LOEVENDIE explore the visual aspect of synchronicity and choreographic movement, Manuela KERER and Juliana HODKINSON take a tongue-in-cheek look at such deeply human themes as married life and motherhood. Gerald RESCH and Carola BAUCKHOLT feel the pulse of nature and make chirping birds and meandering waves the point of departure for their works. The young Tyrolean and South Tyrolean musicians of the WirkWerk ensemble defy conventional musical expectations and present a diverse offering between the twin poles of depth and humour. WirkWerk is a frequent participant in the Tyrol Easter Festival. The aim of their unconventional approach to the concert format is to make the music of the 20th and 21st centuries accessible to a wider audience. The result is an overall experience that also showcases the venue as an integral part of the concert.
